CogRehab is used to improve the cognitive and psychomotor abilities of the Athlete such as; executive functions, attention, concentration, memory and senso-motor coordination. It is composed of different separate modules as illustrated below.

Eye Hand Tracking & Coordination

This exercise improves the ability of Eye-Hand coordination by measuring the ability of tracking a moving object along a defined track displayed on screen. With each improvement of the trainee's performance, the level of difficulty is increased. This is done by creating a more complex track and increasing the speed at which the object moves along it.

Spatial Rotation

This exercise improves the trainee's Visual Interpretation of a 3D object displayed on screen. By displaying to the Trainee an object from 2 views; a straight forward angle and a rotated one. The trainee attempts to determine which axis the object appears to be rotated on. With each level of difficulty more complex objects are displayed in addition to rotating the object on more than one axis.

Sequential Memory

This exercise improves the ability of memorization a sequence or order of objects. A series of objects is displayed on screen, the objects are highlighted in a certain order. The trainee is required to recount the order in which the objects were highlighted. As the level becomes more difficult, both the number of objects displayed increases in addition to there being movement among the objects.

Visual Memory

This exercise improves the Visual Memory and Observation skills of the trainee. A group of objects are animated on screen and the trainee is required to determine the location of the deferent object. Each level of difficulty increases the number of objects and the rate at which they are moving.

Attention

This exercise focuses on the user's visual attention with respect to a displayed location in space. The trainee tracks a viewfinder that is moving and when it stops, an action is required from the user. With each level ofdifficulty the speed at which the viewfinder moves increases and the time given to the user for a reaction is reduced.

Basic Vigilance

This exercise increases the users ability to maintain careful observation for possible dangers or obstacles. During the car's cycle on the track, another vehicle comes into the user's path. If the vehicle brakes, an action is needed from the user. For each level of difficulty, the car's speed increases and the duration given to react is reduced.

Phasic Alertness

This exercise improves the ability to increase response readiness subsequent to external factors. A warning stimulus precedes an obstacle and if the obstacle comes into the user's path, he is required to take action. The warning stimulus can be a sign, landmark or sound. The level of difficulty increases by increasing the repetition of obstacles and the time needed to react is reduced.
